Even though we were sad to see Saoirse go, the new exciting line up for the BBC Radio 1 Residencies is here and we are not mad about it
Anz, Avalon Emerson, Carl Cox and Carista are the latest artists to take part in its long-running residency series. They’ll join the likes of Joy Orbison, Sherelle, Amelie Lens and DJ EZ, who were recruited as residents back in 2020 (aside from Sherelle, who joined in 2019).
Tune into shows from the new residents from 1 March. The new residents will join the weekly line up rotation from then. Two shows running every Sunday night into the early hours of Monday.
