The EP’s opening track is something a little different from Laksa and takes a unique (slower) perspective on dancehall mixed in with some heavy precussion. However, on the flip side ‘Belly Brocka’ and ‘T’s tent’ pick up the tempo and are both drum heavy and delightfully breaky. All three tracks unique from each other but working seamlessly together.
Laksa is also the second part of RE:LAX a club night and monthly radio show on NTS Radio which he runs with re:ni. He’s certainly making a mark for himself in the UK scene pushing bass true to his Bristol roots and is certainly not one to be missed.
