Summertime brings big decisions, so if are you are still weighing up your festival plans, why not have an August Amsterdam adventure? Dekmantel Festival have have handed you 150 reasons to go and with the dynamite city of Amsterdam as a backdrop to all that wonderfulness what is there to think about?

With their usual luscious line up, finely tuned fine points and special specifics Dekmantel 2016 is looking like their best yet. Dekmantel run on the mantra that If it ain't broke we don't fix it - they just tweak what has to be improved on. Curating a festival of opening concerts and day and nights extravaganza’s is no mean feat, but in true Dekmantel form they are not style over substance. Only sunny surprises and extra experiences for you to make some majestic memories.

A Looker of a Line-Up

With a rock steady lineup that includes: DJ Harvey,The Black Madonna, Palms Tracks,Ricardo Villalobos, Call Super, Interstellar Funk, Voiski, Intergalactic Gary, AUX 88, Hunne, Legowelt,Lena Willikens, Barnt, Joey Anderson, Helena Hauf and Beautiful Swimmers- their line up is a savage roll call of the finest old and new school making the festival what it is. True to form they have added in some extra special additions including Tony Humphries - A Tribute To Zanzibar, Shackleton's new live project which incorporates elements of soprano -style performer and analogue cinema. Also on the bill is a majestic  ‘All analogue love retro acid house` jam sfeaturing Rebuild 808 State’s Graham Massey and A Guy Called Gerald joining forces with 303, 101, 727, 202, 909 and of course the almighty 808’. Hold onto those high hats.

Devils in the Detail

Dekmantel Festival’s opening concerts, lectures and film viewings will be set in several landmark locations, dotted around the fabulous city of Amsterdam, making it super easy to get that culture fix. Day events are set in the lush Amsterdam Bos Park (literally translates as Amsterdam forest, and is 3 times the size of Central Park in NYC) is where our day time adventure takes place. Night time moves to Melkweg (what happens in Melkweg stays in Melkweg) with the sublime headliners including Veronica Vasicka, Legowelt Live, DJ Bone, Optimo and Sadar Bahar. Limited Day and Night time tickets are available - but be advised, they are as popular as cranberry sauce Christmas week so hurry up and buckle up for some Amster- damage.
