Our Bars

The Bernard Shaw was/is our first bar. In existence since 1895, we started a new chapter in 2006 and have tried to expand on what it means to be an Irish bar in the building ever since.

By day it was home to the great folk at Vice Coffee & The Boxcutter Barbershop, & Spudbox, by night it was a bar & venue with a focus on high-end cocktails, an event space for all sorts of live gigs, talks, comedy, screenings, workshops, cabaret, club nights, knitting circles, poetry readings... you name it we did it. We closed the Twisted Pepper on Saturday 15th August 2015.
