Bakey touches down in the Racket Space

Garage superstar Bakey joins us in the racket space

Bakey exploded onto the scene in 2018 when he co-produced “Cookie”- a moody rap collaboration with BNC Javen at just 17 years old. Since then he has shown no signs of slowing down with releases on many prominent labels around the UK, including “Bring it Back” on “Time is Now”, which was listed by Mixmag as one of the best EPs of 2021. The Leeds based producer has garnered the support of many prolific artists such as The Blessed Madonna, Joy Orbison and Emerald.

His skills are also not reserved just for producing as he regularly showcases his prowess as a DJ with gigs all over the UK as well as a now iconic Boiler Room set in London. Recently he took to the infamous Hoer Berlin bathroom to showcase his versatile and eclectic music taste with an hour of jungle and drum and bass music guaranteed to have you on your feet. While he is still in his early 20’s, the fast rising artist has already cultivated a serious reputation in the music industry as both a selector and a producer, this will no doubt be one for the books
