Bodytonic Podcast 049 : Alex Cortex

With more than 10 years of quietly brilliant records under his belt, the apparent news that Alex Cortex is taking a break from producing techno is something of a surprise. His recent run of 12"s on Pomelo and Platzhirsch reinforced his ability to turn his hand to a variety of genres while still retaining a signature style, and his 'Laconic' album on Source remains an understated classic. Alex will still be peforming PAs though - here's a recent live cut from this most versatile of producers.
