BANTER #6: Banter at DEAF - 90s Vs 00s w/ Jim Carroll, Francois & Sunil Sharpe
BANTER #6
Boom, boom, boom - the return of BANTER
BANTER is a series of informal monthly discussions about pop culture stuff which usually takes place at the Twisted Pepper (Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1). We've had five outings so far so we think we know what we're doing.
BANTER #6 is a tie-in with the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) and takes place on Saturday October 31.
"90s vs 00s² will see Dublin techno kingpins Francois (repesenting the 1990s) taking on Sunil Sharpe (repping the 00s) about which decade produced the most thrilling sounds and nights out in the capital city.
It's the rumble in the Dubland jungle, the thrilla on Middle Abbey Street, the no-holds-barred heavyweight bout of the season. There can only be winner! Referee: Jim Carroll.
Doors open at 8.30pm and admission is free. As capacity in the room is limited, please email your name to conor@bodytonicmusic.com with ³Banter #6² in the subject bar to guarantee your place or fill out the below form.
The final BANTER of 2009 will our "Review of the Year...Review of the Decade" to be held on December 5

Banter on dec 5th will be special too. Seeing as it will be review of last decade....and then one of the stars of the next decade, Floating Points taking over the mezz. Pity Sunil can`t do an old acid waem-up set for Hardfloor...or a filthy electro warm-up in the basement.
