12Sundays present : Mark E
Mark E
Tom Beary
John Mahon
Sunday 30th March 2008
12-12
There's two Mark E's of Manchester and if your expecting The Fall front man you'll be sadly disappointed. The Mark E of Manchester will be hosting at 12Sundays on March 30th is a much funkier , laid back kid , who highly recommends you visit Wolverhampton if you get the chance.
As per usual at our 12Sundays shindig for guests from foreign, Mark will be a 3-6 hour set , all depends on flight times and energy levels. Check out his recent podcast below for us for proof of this man's deck skills and record collection . His production output has never been prolific as the man himself says 'quality over quantity' - an admirable attitude in times when producers can release 50 tunes a year on Beatport if they choose too.
He's most famous for his remixes and re-edits of new and old songs , in particular check out his epic re-rubs of Tata Vega 'Give It Up For Love' or Womack and Womack's 'Sacred' . His most recent track RnB Drunkie , released at the tail end of 2007, featured on Prins Thomas & Lindstrom's November 07 Essential Mix and is a future classic.
Support on the day/night comes from 12Sundays residents Tom, John, Conor and T.
12Sundays - Every Sunday @ The Bernard Shaw, Portobello, Dublin 2
